Tal has studied and experimented with yoga and its physical and mental benefits for many years and has studied in Australia, Thailand, Singapore and Bali under various teachers. Although she teaches many styles, her own personal practice is steeped in the Ashtanga Vinyasa method as taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois's daughter and grandson Saraswathi and Sharat Jois.
As someone who was never athletic growing up Tal found a much needed outlet in the physical expression. The dynamic postures were like an art form, which, combined with the intensity of breath awareness, challenged her to investigate the inner realms of the mind/body balance.Her goal is to deliver the beauty and reverence of the practice of yoga, mindfulness and breath awareness and the importance it plays in understanding one's own mind. Tal has recently experienced the power of prenatal yoga first hand through her own pregnancy. She is passionate about participating in the lives of women at a stage where they are in such profound transition, and believes yoga can help support women during both pregnancy and labour.
